South Bend Pollution Awareness

Innovative Thinkers Camp is a program in which young adults are granted the opportunity to build on a variety of skills. Throughout the three years the campers worked on personal branding, team building, problem solving using innovative thinking, and also learned how to apply these skills in their daily lives.

Matthew Williams II

My name is Matthew Williams II. I am 13 and going into 8th grade at LaSalle Intermediate Academy.I enjoy photography, coding, and messing around with tech. I have my own photography business. Jathan Willis

My name is Jathan. I’m interested in the topic of water pollution and littering because I think solving this problem can help endangered species and the environment. and I live in South Bend. My hobbies are playing sports and drawing. I am cool and laidback.

My name is Paula Davies. I am 14 years old and I am a freshman who attends Trinity School at Greenlawn. I am a participant of the Innovative Thinkers Camp. This website is essential to shed light on an important issue and show how much we care about our community.

Jocelyn Hollingsworth

My name is Jocelyn Hollingsworth . I am going to be an 8th grader at Grissom Middle School. This project is important to me because it’s building awareness around an issue in our community that should be solved.

Brycen Wilkins

My name is Brycen Wilkins, son of Maurice Wilkins Jr.I attend John Adams High School as a freshman. My favorite part of Innovative Thinkers Camp is it’s preparing me on how to start my own business in the future. This project is important to me because showing love for my community through service is important creation of this website is very important to my future because it can show that I have a sense of community service.

Valeria Alvarez

My name is Valeria Alvarez. I will be a sophomore this upcoming fall semester at St. Joe High School. In my opinion, finding a solution for water pollution and littering is important and urgent since this is affecting the aquatic species and overall image of the environment.

Ruby N. Delgado

I am Ruby Nathziely Delgado. I am fourteen years old. As an upcoming freshman at John Adams High School, I love to get involved with the community. Some things that I do are sing in a choir for my church, I am a Mexican Folkloric Dancer, and am in a youth group for my church. I LOVE food (except for pizza) and enjoy drawing. This is my last year in Innovative Thinkers Camp and it has been a great experience for me to learn about in an entrepreneur and owning my own business. We are trying to help the community by decreasing litter and pollution growth in our community and help present and future generations follow our goal in helping the community.

Italia N. Ramos

My name is Italia Nicole Ramos and this upcoming fall I will be a sophomore attending John Adams High School. I am very involved in my school and my community, I’m participating in Mexican Folkloric Dance, JAVA (John Adams Volunteer Association), and the John Adams Cross Country team. This years Innovative Thinkers Camp project is a tool to help inform the community about pollution and littering. With this years project we can help get people involved and encourage others in pick up after themselves.
